"Fantastic home base for La Fortuna. The location is unbeatable — walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the park, but tucked away enough to stay quiet. The rooms were spotless with great AC, and the included breakfast each morning was a real highlight (fresh coffee, hot local plates, and birds in the garden). What made the stay, though, was the front desk — Elver and Wdilvia went above and beyond, from spot-on restaurant recommendations to helping us keep our tours running smoothly. Responsive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Don't forget to look for the Sloths in the trees and the gardens are beautiful. We'll be back."

"Pros: A lovely hotel in a great location in La Fortuna, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and there is a private parking lot that is locked at night. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. The value for money is reasonable.  Breakfast is served between 6:45 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., and you can choose from three hot options. Cons: Access to the rooms is from the garden side via sliding glass doors. The entire front of the room is made of glass, so you have to keep the curtains closed at all times for privacy. The room itself is quite spartanly furnished and not very cozy, but it offers everything you need. The breakfast selection isn’t extensive, and there’s plenty of room for improvement in terms of taste. In addition, there is very weak filter coffee, a type of juice, water, and tea. The staff’s friendliness varies."

"The view from the hotel and the pools of the volcano is amazing and worth it. The front desk is super helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable with nice comfy perhaps memory foam beds. The AC in our room was on some sort of timer that for the life of us we couldn't figure out. One night it cut off in the early AM and another it went the whole night. The breakfast was fine, but not the best we had."
